still in exile

I was super-excited at the idea that there might be some Jews here, but Google indicates that the once prominent Jewish community of Cairo is all but extinct, leaving their monumental synagogues empty, probably soon to be converted to other uses. I couldn't find services to go to tonight, which is really bumming me out now.
