in explanation for my truancy

My intention was to inundate the blog with Bedouin-tastic posts the moment I returned; unfortunately, it turns out that it takes quite some time to type up and organize 30 pages of hecticly scrawled journaling. Especially when I have many other things to do, like visit the Dead Sea, hang out at a cafe with friends, go shopping, and play settlers, not to mention class. And, of course, I couldn't blog anything else until I'd blogged about the Bedouins, so. Here be blogging.
