There's a Lebanese TV show called Star Academy that's on all the time. It's like American Idol meets Real World, only on a grander scale. Lama said it was "on 24 hrs", and I'm still not sure whether she was trying to tell me it was reality TV or whether it actually airs 24 hrs a day. It really might, from what I've seen. I was a little shocked that that stuff could be on Arab TV, but then I reminded myself that everything we watch in the US is way more edgy than the way we actually live. We love watching people that we would hate living with.
