birthday update

So, the night of my birthday we had this amazing dinner at a really fancy Lebanese restaurant. Oh, man. So. Much. Food. The entire table was filled with food, probably 6-8 different dishes, and then it turns out that that was only the first appetizer course. By the time the meat appetizers came I could barely eat, but I wanted to soooo badly. It was amazing. And it turned out that everyone signed a card for me, and chipped in for a box of chocolates. Yay! People kept suggesting we go out to celebrate my birthday that evening, and I wanted to, but nobody really knew what to do and everyone was exhausted. So I gave in to what I really wanted to do, and took it easy, after feeling vindicated by the super-awesone dinner. All things considered, a good birthday.
